21st Annual Rotary Charity Golf Scramble: Sept. 11

Posted by Roger Rollins on Aug 27, 2017

The Athens Rotary Foundation is holding its 21-st Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Sept. 11-th at the Athens Country Club.  The profit raised from this event helps fund the projects, emphasizing the benefit of children, we support in Athens county.

Recently we helped build a handicapped accessible playground at the City's South Side Park; refurbished and remodeled the cabin at Camp Rotan; satisfied our $50,000 pledge to help rebuild the Athens High School football field and stadium; and have pledged $50,000 each to the capital improvement projects of Stuart's Opera House and The Dairy Barn Arts Center.  Our Foundation has no administrative expenses;  all moneys flow directly to our projects.

It's support from community members like you that makes Athens a great place to live and raise children.  Please consider volunteering, being a sponsor, or participating in this year's event.

Become a Hole Sponsor ($125); Play ($125); Become a non-participating General Sponsor ($250); Become a participating Team Sponsor ($500); or simply Volunteer your services to help with the event (Free!).
