Blood Drive Reminder
Message from Rotarian Betsy Baringer:
 
On Monday, July 29, 2019, Athens Rotary will host a Blood Drive at The Inn.  
 
Time:          10am-4pm; Lindley room - 2nd floor across from Ballroom
 
Sign up:      Either call 1-800-RED CROSS or visit www.RedCrossBlood.org to schedule appointment.  If you are concerned about the ability to give due to travel out of the Country- please call the Red Cross and ask....some restrictions may have changed.
 
As we all are aware, blood levels are extremely low and we need help from everyone who can donate or refer a friend!!!  Our Rotary Goal is 24 units!!!   We can do it!!

Athens Rotary 2019-2020 Officers were installed by Jenny Stotts, Assistant Governor, at our Noon Meeting on July 14, 2019.

Split the Pot Contest #37
The winner of the weekly Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on July 22, 2019 was Alan Boyd.  Alan collected the weekly split of $20 and proceeded to cut the three of Clubs from the deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $120 beginning in the accumulated pot and 47 cards in the deck.

The winners of the weekly Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on July 15, 2019 was once again the pooling players at Dave Palmer's table.  Max Evans represented the table to collect the weekly split of $17 and proceeded to cut the five of Spades from the deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $100 beginning in the accumulated pot and 48 cards in the deck.
 
The winner of the weekly Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on July 8, 2019 was the pooling players at Dave Palmer's table.  Don Fucci represented the table to collect the weekly split of $18 and proceeded to cut the Jack of Spades from the deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $83 beginning in the accumulated pot and 49 cards in the deck.
 
The winner of the weekly Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on July 1, 2019 was Paul Cadamagnani.  Paul collected the weekly split of $23 and proceeded to cut the six of Clubs from the deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $65 beginning in the accumulated pot and 50 cards in the deck.
 
The winner of the weekly Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on June 17, 2019 was Dave Diggle.  Dave collected the weekly split of $22 and proceeded to cut the ten of Clubs from the deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $42 beginning in the accumulated pot and 51 cards in the deck.
 
The 37th Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest began at our weekly meeting on June 10, 2019.  The lucky ticketholder for the first drawing was Becky Baringer.  Becky collected the weekly split of $20 and then proceeded to cut the two of Hearts from the new deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $20 beginning in the accumulated pot.
