April Social Event at Athens Uncorked (RSVP Required)

On Thursday, April 25, from 5:00PM to 6:30PM, Rotarians and their guests are invited to Athens Uncorked for fellowship, wine, appetizers, and house made desserts.  Appetizers and desserts will be provided.

Split the Pot Contest #36
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on April 1, 2019 was Pete Couladis.  Pete collected the weekly split of $16 and then proceeded to cut the five of Clubs from the  deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $37 beginning in the accumulated pot and 61 cards in the deck.
The 36th Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest began at our weekly meeting on March 25, 2019.  The lucky ticketholder for the first drawing was Tom O'Grady.  Tom collected the weekly split of $21 and then proceeded to cut the Queen of Hearts from the new deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $21 beginning in the accumulated pot.

Split the Pot Contest #35
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship Fund split the pot contests on March 18, 2019 was Betsy Baringer.  The weekly split for the drawing was $34.  Our Rotarian of the year calmly drew the Joker from the remaining 7 cards and claimed the accumulated pot of $1,008.   Congratulations, Betsy!

Split the Pot Contest #36 will begin next week.
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship Fund split the pot contests on March 11, 2019 was Diane McVey.  The weekly split for the drawing was $31, but Diane failed to find the Joker when she drew the 4 of Spades from the deck.   The accumulated pot will start at $974 next meeting with  only 7 cards remaining in the deck.
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship Fund split the pot contest on March 4th was the pooling players at Dave Palmer's table.  The weekly split for the drawing was $30, but the Joker was not found when Max Evans drew the Jack of Spades from the deck.   The accumulated pot will start at $943 next meeting with  only 8 cards remaining in the deck.
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship Fund split the pot contests on February 25, 2019 was Karen Harvey.  Karen collected the weekly split of $25 but failed to find the Joker and instead drew the 9 of Diamonds of Clubs from the deck.   The accumulated pot will start at $913 next meeting with  only 9 cards remaining in the deck.
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship Fund split the pot contests on February 18, 2019 was Leslie Flemming.  Leslie collected the weekly split of $23 but failed to find the Joker and instead drew the 3 of Clubs from the deck.   The accumulated pot will start at $888 next meeting with  only 10 cards remaining in the deck.
 

The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship Fund split the pot contests on February 11, 2019 was Keith Wasserman.  Keith collected the weekly split for the drawing of $23 and received a nice round of applause from the crowd when he failed to find the Joker and instead drew the 8 of Clubs from the deck.   The accumulated pot will start at $865 next meeting with  only 11 cards remaining in the deck.
