Rotary Night at Copperheads Game: June 22
Saturday, June 22 Athens Rotary heads to Bob Wren stadium to cheer on the Copperheads at 7:05 p.m.!  Please RSVP by Friday, June 14 by contacting Tara Gilts at Tara.Gilts@ohiohealth.com or calling or texting (419) 356.8524. 
 

When you RSVP please include the name of each person attending, any dietary restrictions you or your guest(s) have, and the total number of Copperheads tickets you need for your party.  Members will only be billed for guest game tickets. Dinner will be served from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the tables near the third base line.

You will remember that last year our Southern Ohio Copperheads won the 2018 Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League Championship!

Split the Pot Contest #36
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on May 20, 2019 was again the table of pooling players at Dave Palmer's table.  Dave  decided to take matters into his own hands and represented the table to collect the weekly split of $18 and then proceeded to cut the nine of Spades from the  deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $156 beginning in the accumulated pot and 45 cards in the deck.
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on May 13, 2019 was Don Green.  Don collected the weekly split of $20 and then proceeded to cut the Seven of Clubs from the  deck.  The contest will continue next week with $138 beginning in the accumulated pot and 46 cards in the deck.
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on May 6, 2019 was Pete Couladis (for the third time in 6 drawings).  Pete collected the weekly split of $18 and then proceeded to cut the Ten of Diamonds from the  deck.  The contest will continue next week with $118 beginning in the accumulated pot and 47 cards in the deck.
 
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on April 29, 2019 was again the table of pooling players.  Don Fucci represented the table to collect the weekly split of $23 and then proceeded to cut the two of Clubs from the  deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $100 beginning in the accumulated pot and 48 cards in the deck.
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on April 15, 2019 was Pete Couladis.  Pete collected the weekly split of $17 and then proceeded to cut the Ace of Spades from the  deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $77 beginning in the accumulated pot and 49 cards in the deck.
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on April 8, 2019 was the table of pooling players.  Jack Ellis represented them to collect the weekly split of $21 and then proceeded to cut the six of Clubs from the  deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with the accumulated pot starting at $60 with 50 cards remaining in the deck.
 
The winner of the Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest on April 1, 2019 was Pete Couladis.  Pete collected the weekly split of $16 and then proceeded to cut the five of Clubs from the  deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $37 beginning in the accumulated pot and 51 cards in the deck.
 
The 36th Athens Rotary Foundation Scholarship split the pot contest began at our weekly meeting on March 25, 2019.  The lucky ticketholder for the first drawing was Tom O'Grady.  Tom collected the weekly split of $21 and then proceeded to cut the Queen of Hearts from the new deck of cards.  So, the contest will continue next week with $21 beginning in the accumulated pot.
