About 25 Rotarians attended a January social event at the Southeast Ohio History Center. Tom O'Grady provided a tour and shared some of SE Ohio's special treasures and stories. The Rotary Room was revealed, a room dedicated to The Athens Rotary Club's history and memorabilia. Guests enjoyed refreshments made by Brenan's Coffee Cafe.

On May 13,2023, the Athens Rotary Club held a Peace Pole Dedication at the Athens Armory Park. The celebration was then moved to The Southeast Ohio History Center where the Club's historical displays were set up.
